New Seasons Design

Each season in Diamond Dynasty is an opportunity to begin anew and refresh your lineup. Building from your base of always-playable Core cards, you’ll supplement your squad with powerful Season-specific cards. Don’t worry if you’ve still got multiple gaps to fill—this year, you can use multiple Wild Card players from past Seasons in your lineup at the same time!

Cornerstone Cards

Your Season’s journey begins by opening the Season Starter Pack and choosing your very own Cornerstone Card. As their name indicates, Cornerstone Cards are the kind of player you can build a World Series team around! Cornerstone Cards are powerful and based on some of the greatest Legends in MLB history.

Multiple Wild Cards

Yes, the rumors are true. If you like your Season 1 Cornerstone Card, you can keep it in your lineup. This year, for the very first time, you can run multiple Wild Cards in your Season lineup. There are multiple ways to earn more slots, giving your poor opponents a double, triple, or mega-dose of nostalgia while you beat them!

Pitch Clock

To match MLB’s new rules, MLB the Show 24 now includes a Pitch Clock. Enabled by default, the Pitch Clock feature starts with 20 seconds with runners on base or 15 seconds with bases empty.

If there are three consecutive Pitch Clock violations, the game automatically switches to an idle scene to prevent further violations; begin again by inputting any button press with your controller. Alternatively, if you prefer the way things used to be, you can disable this feature for offline modes in the Settings under “AI Gameplay” > “Pitch Clock.”

Pitcher Disengagement

The new Pitcher Disengagement feature limits pitchers to a maximum of two disengagements per plate appearance. The disengagement count resets if a pickoff is successful or if a runner advances to another base (steal, wild pitch, passed ball, etc).
