Road to the Show
In MLB the Show 24’s long-time fan-favorite mode, embark on a baseball journey as a fresh young prospect who grows to baseball greatness!
New to Road to the Show
Female Player
Show ‘em what it really means to “play like a girl!” For the first time in Road to the Show, you can play out the story of the first-ever female player in MLB history! You and your friendly rival Mia Lewis will help each other get through the gut check of the Draft Combine, then set out on the Road to the Show. Build your superstar from the ground up and turn her into the best ballplayer in the world!
Emergent Narrative
The world of a Major League player or prospect is full of other characters—your relationships with your coaches, agents, friends, or rivals matter more than ever before with more specific dialogue options and multiple narratives to play through.
Combine
The Combine separates the prospects from the hopeless dreamers and the serious prospects from the longshots. You’ll show what you can do in three mini games testing the skills of your chosen position, and your performance can help move you up—or down—your favorite team’s draft board.
Your Ballplayers, Your Way!
Own your Ballplayer experience: maintain several players so you’re prepared for whatever
is thrown your way. Use the mobile MLB the Show Companion App’s Face Scan feature to turn your Ballplayer into
the spitting image of… you!
Your ballplayer grows their skills through the field, off-day workouts,
and on-field training. Earn Gold results in your training sessions to move up to the next level and
turbo-boost your superstar to the big leagues! As you collect XP, you earn stat-boosting equipment for your
star-in-the-making; combine these with Perks and Skill Sets for nearly unlimited customization options.
Utilize our streamlined challenges that align with your Skill Set; once completed, you’ll choose from several
game-altering perks.
Be sure to also tweak your animations: they don’t affect your ballplayer’s
stats, but what’s the point of hitting more home runs than Vladimir Guerrero Jr. if he celebrates with a
cooler bat flip than you?
